Connection Councils: Reimagine Your Next Act

A research-backed, 8-week program for women to learn, grow, connect, and co-create their next acts

When you join one of our 8-week programs, you will be embarking on a journey with a small group of like-minded women who, like you, are navigating life inflection points.

As part of the program, you will be assigned to a Connection Council, a small cohort going through similar life stages to cultivate friendship, community, support and connection as you design your next chapter.

“At the beginning, I wasn’t sure what to make of the process of designing my next act. I’m a planner but I thought that long term plans were useless because the next pandemic could come any day.

I really appreciated all of the support and feedback I got from my council. It’s amazing that I ask people in every strategic conversation, what do you want to achieve?, and then can’t see it from the inside until someone else says it. Thanks for bringing us all together. What a gift!”

– Stephanie Gerber Wilson, Leadership and Marketing Consultant

Why should I join a Connection Council?

Define the areas of your career and life you would most like to reimagine

Identify your “zone of genius” and unique talents by mapping your life journey

Ideate on the vision of your next chapter by exploring several different paths

Iterate on your vision by presenting and receiving feedback from council members

Set an action plan for evaluating next steps

For our fall councils. Christine Perfetti will act as the lead facilitator for the program.
Only 6 participants will be selected for each cohort!

“I am a strategic thinker with ambitious goals, but I recognize I need collaboration and shared experiences to be successful. Joining this group has been a transformative journey, marked by openness and mutual vulnerability, embodying the essence of ‘Lift Up.’

Christine has thoughtfully crafted a program that goes beyond conventional playbooks or manuals. What I needed was a space to connect with like-minded women—where we can listen, challenge, and provide real-time feedback to each other. Together, we are all learning and growing.”

– Mary Noone, Campaign Strategist

How does a Connection Council work?

Connection Councils are made up of small groups of women at similar life and career stages that meet on a weekly basis for support, community, connection, peer mentorship, and skill building to reimagine their next chapters.

Groups meet on a weekly basis for eights weeks, facilitated by Christine Perfetti, a social psychologist and expert in group facilitation and career and life visioning approaches.

By the end of the eight weeks, group members have established strong connections and friendships while also  building an action plan for their next act.
